Easy period-to-period comparisons

Variances regularly occur in HCM application data, either due to incorrect entries or normal business activities. In comparing HCM and Payroll data from one period with that from another, VM allows you to set variance thresholds, analyze the differences regularly, and resolve them proactively, thus avoiding costly mistakes.

Useful audit information

VM can detect 'null' values, such as non-payments, and highlight new payments or differences. It is therefore valuable for meeting Sarbanes-Oxley and other audit-compliance requirements.

Accuracy in installation of Support Pack or upgrade

Support Pack installations and upgrades to new SAP versions can have an effect on data consistency, so extensive manual testing is usually done on random samples. VM automates the testing, quickly checking 100% of the data for consistency.

Confidence in new SAP implementation

VM compares data in your SAP HCM with data in your legacy payroll system, checking whether everything has been transferred consistently. This replaces the usual manual system, saving time and effort and giving you confidence in your data.
